The German language is systematically taught on a daily basis from
kindergarten. Our staff is very experienced and well educated and
the teaching is based on the use of the most appealing and modern
methods. The books chosen adopt a modern approach to the language
and deal with contemporary issues which correspond to the interests
and the needs of the students. The special school publications with
additional material and exercises, the use of multimedia and the
internet, make the teaching of the foreign language not only a pleasant
experience but also very effective.
The students are placed in small classes which correspond to their
level of knowledge.
The afternoon classes apply to students who need additional assistance
or wish to complete the subject at a more intensive pace so as to
reach the point of taking the exam for a diploma in a shorter period.
The school is an Examination Center for the Goethe Institute and
the conference of the Ministers of Education of the federal Democracy
of Germany for the exams of the KMK diploma. Within the school,
we run an information office on graduate studies abroad which helps
students to select the most appropriate educational institution
for the continuation of their studies in Germany.
The teaching of the German language in homogenous levels enables
the students to prepare for the following examinations:
1. Admission to the German School of Athens
2. First diploma of the Goethe Institute (Fit
in Deutsch 1 / Level A1)
3. Second diploma of the Goethe Institute (Fit
in Deutsch 2 / Level A2)
4. Third diploma of the Goethe Institute (Zertifikat
/ Level B1)
5. Fourth diploma of the Goethe Institute (Level
B2)
6. German Language Diploma of the German Ministers of Education
and Culture KMK (Level
C1)

During the school year of 1998-99 the students of our school, the
only students from Greek schools, are given the opportunity to sit
for the KMK diploma exams.
This diploma, along with the high school graduation certificate
enables the students to continue their studies in the Higher Educational
Institutions of Germany.
This achievement was a reward of the school and its commitment
to the systematic and effective teaching of the German language.
