D-SPACE: Discovery Space
The “D-SPACE” program has as its main objective to transform school units throughout the country into hubs for research, innovation, training and dissemination of astronomy. These hubs, in addition to introducing astronomy and robotic telescopes into the classroom, aim to organize astronomy activities for the local community and support national initiatives. Ellinogermaniki Agogi is an extremely active hub of the program, as it organizes teacher training and astronomy events aimed at its broad school community. By integrating open education and scientific methodology into the school environment, we seek to strengthen the scientific literacy not only of students but also of the wider community.
Virtual Lifeguard
The project aims to develop an advanced interactive virtual reality game to educate children on safety issues when engaging in sports and recreational activities related to water and the sea. As part of the project, a platform will be developed that will offer, in the form of an interactive virtual reality game (VR Game), educational scenarios for children aged 12-17. The platform will have a management tool for adapting the scenarios to the target group in real time, for producing different levels of difficulty, and for producing new scenarios.
Distance Music Education
Ellinogermaniki Agogi, consistently maintaining its leadership in the application of new technologies in education, offers students musical education with the proposed service “Distance Music Education”. The service operates as an auxiliary service for existing students of the Ellinogermaniki Agogi who will have the opportunity to attend classes in the form of remedial teaching outside of school hours, but also to welcome new interested parties from all over the country.
