to be carried out. From his introduction, different
issues were addressed:
- To establish new strategies to disseminate the
project: the possibilities and the results achieved
already.

the third edition and aimed to provide any

It was discussed the possibility to maintain
the services that Eudoxos project provides
once the program is finished. |

Status of the e-tool (by Nicholas Andrikopoulos,
from EA)
Nicholas
made a summary on the main features of the e-tool
and the project’s website in general, showing
the main innovations and services of both tools.
Other aspects he addressed were as follows:
| |
Presentation
of the procedures designed in order to register
new schools to the services and activities
of Eudoxos project, within the proposal “Observation
week”. |
| |
Presentation
of F. Scheuermann’s proposal, aimed to optimise
the web site structure. Several objectives
are proposed: to provide the user with clear
information about the project, to offer a
public access to comments, and create a section
of an educational nature, addressed to teachers,
on one side, and students on the other side. |
| |
Nicholas
shows us several images of Greek students
working with the computers in the classroom,
with the telescope simulators, etc. |

Evaluation process and status (by Eulalia García
and Carmen Rodríguez, from the University
of Cadiz)
The
University of Cadiz presented the first conclusions
reached from the process of analysis of the information
gathered through the designed evaluation tools,
and this is the basis of the evaluation workshop
later developed. It was carried out an analysis
of both the main handicaps found and the work
to be done. The presentation of the first ideas
concerning the development of the project allowed
us to make a discussion with the teachers regarding
some aspects related to the teaching-learning
process developed in every school as well the
evaluation process.
The
teachers share different experiences developed
with the rest of colleagues (for instance the
videoconferences carried out between the schools
of Italy and Greece).
-
Evaluation workshop (UCA, all)
Once
the evaluators’ needs are analysed, it is developed
a work session aimed to sum up all the information
that the teachers can provide the evaluators regarding
their work with the students in the project. All
the attendants participate in the preparation
of the questionnaires developed by the UCA, and
after this individual task, some of the issues
proposed in the questionnaires are shared. The
discussions become an excellent material for evaluation
purposes.
-
Visit to Bolonia School
We
will visit Bolonia School, enter the classrooms,
visit the installations and talk to the students.
-
Conference issues (Demokritos, all)
Idea
sharing about the organization of the conference
planned for the month of July. Dates are considered,
issues to be developed are presented, we address
the address the subject of students’ participation,
etc.
-
Corrective actions – modifications (Demokritos,
EA, all)
Petros
Georgopoulos (Demokritos) made a summary of the
lessons prepared by Demokritos for the development
of each proposed activity, aimed to clear up any
doubt that the teachers might have. He mainly
focussed his work on those aspects in which the
students might find more difficulties and showed
the procedure to be followed in order to properly
develop the last lesson “Asteroid Rotation Period”.
To
finish with, George Fanourakis made a summary
of all the aspects covered throughout the two
days of meeting and highlighted the importance
of continuing working together.
