Auxiliary books for Ancient Greek are titled “The Greek language: exercises for junior high school students”. The aim of these books is to help students become familiar with the use of words and the linguistic mechanisms. The exercises correspond to the new spirit of teaching the language. Often in a playful way, they stimulate children’s interest, so that they research and discover the correct concept or word on their own, realizing that Modern Greek is a result of evolution and continuation of Ancient Greek. Through these books, the author-teachers hope that students will understand ancient texts better, enrich their own linguistic code, and consolidate the knowledge of the grammatical and syntactic structures that taught during the year. |
